In 2007, the seniors at my high school spray painted this on the roof of one of the buildings at school for a senior prank. It was only discovered a year later after a news reporter in a helicopter spotted it and reported it to the school.

I think it’s silly how we associate missing someone as a sign of weakness, and because of that, we don’t tell people as often as we should. We just don’t want to come off as dependent or needy. 

The irony here is that it actually takes some strength to swallow your pride, accept humility, and admit that you miss someone. It takes strength to admit you are weak. And I guess that’s what I wish people would realize.
